BREAKING: Nigeria hit 13,000 plus, as 663 new cases of COVID-19 with 365 deaths are confirmed

[9TH JUNE COVID-19 UPDATE] Nigeria now at 13464 with 365 deaths records as 663 new cases emerged.

The number of actual cases of coronavirus in Nigeria is 13464 as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), confirmed an additional 663 new cases today.

NCDC in announcing the current cases via its official Twitter Handle, tweeted on Tuesday, the 9th June 2020, as at 11: 45 pm, that, there are 13464 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 in Nigeria, out of which 4206, is discharged, 365 dead while 8893 are still active.

The tweet reads: “663 new cases of #COVID-19 have been reported; “Lagos-170, Ogun-108, Bauchi-69, Ebonyi-49, Edo-33, Rivers-30, FCT-26, Jigawa-26, Delta-20, Anambra-17, Gombe-16, Kano-16, Imo-15, Abia-14, Borno-11, Oyo-11, Plateau-8, Kebbi-6, Kaduna-6, Ondo-4, Niger-2, Katsina-2, Osun-1, Ekiti-1, Kwara-1, Nasarawa-1 State.

“663 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria. Discharged: 4040. Deaths: 365.”

NCDC, however, referred Nigerians to a link, to view the index cases as it appears in various states and Abuja.

The tweet reads: “A breakdown of cases by state can be found via https://t.co/Z5x7UFXpXd.”
