BREAKING: Rivers hit 394 as NCDC confirms additional 30 new cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has confirmed Thirty new cases of coronavirus in Rivers State on the 9th June 2020.

NCDC made the confirmation of the 30 new cases in Rivers State via a tweet on its official Twitter handle.

The tweet reads: “663 new cases of #COVID-19 have been reported; “Lagos-170, Ogun-108, Bauchi-69, Ebonyi-49, Edo-33, Rivers-30, FCT-26, Jigawa-26, Delta-20, Anambra-17, Gombe-16, Kano-16, Imo-15, Abia-14, Borno-11, Oyo-11, Plateau-8, Kebbi-6, Kaduna-6, Ondo-4, Niger-2, Katsina-2, Osun-1, Ekiti-1, Kwara-1, Nasarawa-1 State.

The Centre, in a further tweet on Tuesday evening, confirmed the total cases in Rivers State as 394.

Meanwhile, Rivers State Inter-ministerial Committee on COVID-19, in buttressing the fact of the coronavirus in the state, as confirmed by NCDC, updated as of 11:50 pm on the 8th June 2020, that there are 394total cases, out of which 158 are discharged, 21 dead, 215 are still active.
