My husband, Olu Jacobs, is alive—says Joke Silva

The Veteran Nollywood actress and a wife to Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, has debunked rumours making the rounds on social media that her husband died.

Silva, in a press interview, said that her husband is alive. Several calls by well-wishers who wanted to find out the truth from the family had inundated them.

She, however, added that the “family found the development so depressing that members had to speak out.”

The Actress added that rumour mongers to desist from their ways before the wrath of God will visit them.

She, however, calls on the mongers and well-wishers to join her family as Olu Jacobs celebrate his birthday next month hale and hearty.

Similarly, Nollywood actress, Kemi Lala Akindoju, a family friend and colleague to Mr Olu Jacobs, has also denied the rumour that veteran actor is dead.

Akindoju, made the clarifications via a tweet on her official Twitter handle, that she spoke with the man, and that he is alive and well.

The tweet reads: “Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive and well. Very much so. I just got off the phone with him. Please stop spreading fake news.”
